I have been a Recreational Therapist for 30 years; working primarily in community-based settings in Southeast Michigan. My past experiences include program development in the areas of Aquatic Therapy, Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Adaptive Gardening, Adaptive Kayaking, and many different artistic mediums. During my time at DNEM, I have worked alongside our REC-IT team to grow the number and variety of adaptive recreation & wellness programs. My passions include community collaboration, adaptive recreation, and fun! I want everyone to lead healthy, happy lives. Personally, I grew up in ‘the thumb’, lived many years in Macomb County, and currently reside in Lake Orion (home of the Dragons!).

When not at work, I enjoy many, many recreational activities. My newest recreational interest in learning to play pickleball! Some of my other interests are spending time with my college-aged kids (Go Green!), traveling, walking, creating art, and being with friends.
