Randy Charon

Randy was introduced to the Ann Arbor Center for Independence Living in 1999 when he was rehabbing at the University of Michigan Hospital for a hunting accident that paralyzed him from mid chest down.  He found the Oakland Macomb Center for Independent Living closer to home in Sterling Heights.  His attendance to Empowerment Meetings. at the soon to be renamed Disability Network of Oakland and Macomb, led him to be asked to join the Board of Trustees.  He has been a Board member to this date.

Prior to his accident Randy was a Heating and Cooling Technician for Pipefitters Local 636.  He is married to his wonderful wife Danielle for 45 years.

Randy wants to help advocate for all people with Disabilities.
