Living Well in the Community (LWC) is a six-session workshop within the Six Weeks to Wellness for people who want to set goals to support their overall quality of life and wellbeing.
Classes are held Fridays from 12:00pm – 1:00pm on Zoom.

Making life changes may lead to new problems. Problems are inevitable and can be discouraging. Today, we’ll focus on solutions, support, possible pathways, and getting started solving problems.
Friday, February 17, 2023 – Healthy Reactions
You know what they say about best laid plans. Today, we’ll discuss our reactions to frustrations, better reactions, inner dialog, and the positive event we might come across.
Friday, February 24, 2023 – Healthy Communication
The better you communicate your thoughts and needs with others, the more likely you are to reach your goals. Let’s talk about how elements, contexts, and disability status can affect our communication.
Friday, March 3, 2023 – Physical Activity
Let’s talk about how to work your disability(ies) to increase your physical activity. Together, we’ll explore some activities, increase our activities, and plan to sustain activity.
Friday, March 10 – Maintenance
Congratulations! You made some great changes this challenge. Let’s talk about how to arrange your environment, monitor yourself, and reward yourself for the work you’ve done. We’ll also reflect on changes and challenges that you’ve experienced in this challenge.
