DNEM’s Certified Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) Coordinator is available to support beneficiaries and their caregivers. This includes the ability to understand and assess impact of earning against Supplemental Security Income and explain other benefits such as retirement options and survivor’s benefits.  Discussions also include insight to new benefits such as health insurance choices: HMO, PPO, retirement investing difference between 401K, 457, and supplemental offerings.

Covid-19 Support

Loan Closet

The Loan Closet program is a free consumer based program for anyone in need of durable medical equipment, such as, a manual wheelchair, bedside commode, shower chair, transfer bench, walker, cane, or crutches.  Products are available for up to 6-months.  DNEM also gladly accepts donations of any durable medical equipment that is in good working condition.
